Reviews
When I heard this place had received a Michelin Star, I had to try it for myself. The service was great, our server was helpful, kind, and quick to share top sellers with passion. The food was extremely flavorful and unique. Flavors of India, Afghanistan, and Pakistani with a modern Californian twist lived up to its expectations! LA Eater definitely did well including them on the list of best restaurants in OC! You can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu.
So we had a reservation for 5:00pm and the table was ready at 5:10pm. A lot of people were dining there. The lighting atmosphere wise is more on the dark side a lot of people were using their flash to read the menu. Food was great 👍 not too spicy 🔥 the bread was soft hot and fresh. The chicken curry was nicely not too over Done it was just right 👍 . I also got a mocktail called mango foheto. The mango taste is strong and with a mint taste I didn't really like the mint after taste however it was ok. Overall I recommend this place I give it a 9/10 and would go back.
some food was really goodand hot( lamb curry) but other was warm and little dry(smoked beef kabob) . The papadum was excellent, addictive.
The service excellent, but when we start eating, the waitress disappeared for 20 minutes. So a drink water with the dinner.
Such a pleasure to come back here. Whenever we visit Disney Land we love to end the night here. The food is amazing and I wish there was an option to rate the service more than 5/5. If there was anything I would just wish the lights were a bit brighter. Other than that exceptional service and food. Being a Pakistani I can say this is an authentic Pakistani cuisine !
My husband has been wanting to come here for a while and we finally decided to give it a try. We both agreed that the food was flavorless and left a lot to be desired. We tried so many dishes and we didn’t like one thing. The restaurant is clean and modern, the staff is very nice but that is about it. They serve the food is very cute and unique ways, but it definitely doesn’t make up for the lack of taste.
We had such a great experience today with the family. Our waiter was so attentive and sweet (i wish i got her name but totally forgot to ask), she came and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. The food portions were a pretty good shareable size. One dish could feed about 2-3 people. The food was warm and delicious!. I love how the food has the perfect balance of spice to it. Highly recommend eating here. Will be back in the future for sure.
So not my first visit but this was with the family. Staff is very friendly and great at what they do. Definitely the best. The space is clean and well set up.
The papad was great with chutneys
The pani puri presented very well but the puri was hard so either stale or just cooked wrong
The bbq jhinga was horrible uncooked and soives were tasteless
The lamb chops were amazing
The Rogan gosht was very good
The beef Karahi was an 8 out of 10
The nihari did not have a nihari taste at all so zero
The mango milkshakes were good
The deserts were good
The naan bread arrived 5 minutes after the curries so sort of ridiculous
Service and cleanliness is where this place excels
Food is a hit and miss based on taste
Would I recommend them depends really on what you are looking for
Ambiance and service yes
Authentic taste no
Consistency is missing
Presentation is excellent
